Description of service
I recently had to replace the alternator in my 2002 Honda Civic. This included the price of the new alternator, as well as the labor involved and taxes. I also got an oil change for no charge. The part had to be ordered, so it took about three days after I dropped off my car for it to be ready to pick up.
Review of Service
Once I picked up my car it ran perfectly, and I had no further problems with the alternator. Also, they went ahead and changed the oil and checked all other fluids in the car for free. They were very friendly and took time to explain to me how an alternator works since I don't know very much about cars. They also walked me through the process of replacing an alternator, which I am sure I will find very helpful in the future. The service was definitely above average, and I was very pleased to have my car up and running again. The price was very high, which is the only thing I was not happy about. However, I think the service was overall worth the price.
Tips
A few days before my car completely stopped working, it was making weird noises and the interior lights would not work. I ignored it, which was obviously a horrible choice. I could have saved the cost of towing if I would have paid more attention to these problems. The best advice I could give to anyone is to never ignore or put off any small problems with your car. Also, I recommend shopping around for different prices if you have the time.
