Description of service
While driving the car felt very stiff on the rear side. After checking shock absorbers on shaking stand the computer showed that they were 25% working. New shock absorber with struts assembly cost was $61 each, totalling in $122. Installation and service fees + tax summed up in another $89. Total cost was $211 and they did a free interior+exterior wash.
Review of Service
The service was supposed to take a day after they got the shock absorbers which were out of stock. They called up in 3 days to inform that parts needed were all in place. They booked me at 6 pm which was a little uncofrtable with my working schedule, but I was lef tno other option. After arrival they had problems installing the shock absorbers because they broke one of struts while installing. I was left without a car for a day. The next day the car was fixed and they did free interior + exterior wash.
Tips
After the car was fixed I learned that shock absorbers were actually purchased in internet for a lower price. It is recommended to look up the needed parts on internet after you get your car diagnosed for malfunctions. This way you can save up to $20 per shock absorber!
