Description of service
Our car had been having trouble starting. We had the starter replaced with a new one at the local Honda Dealership. The service was warrantied for 1 year and the job took 3 days to perform. The cost indicated is for the labor only and it was 90 an hour and we were billed for 1.5 hours of labor. A total of $135 labor
Review of Service
The job took longer than we had hoped, but the car has performed perfectly since the repair. Every morning it starts up with no complaint, and we are satisfied with the warranty coverage should there be a problem.
Tips
Car troubles are an honest headache for us all. It really helps to have a relationship you can trust with a repair person. We have used our service multiple times and know that they wont try to rip us off. Always get estimates before work proceeds, and always ask to keep the broken part. This is something we do so that if we want to inspect for what was broken before we can. I think in some ways it forces them to be a little more honest with you. If they say they can't give you back your damaged starter ect, find another mechanic.
