Description of service
I had a leak in my oil line of my 2006 Honda Civic. I took it to where I bought the car in Heath Ohio. I figured something like this would be covered in my warranty, however I was mistaken. I took it in and after arguing with the Service supervisor, I got the price knocked down from $257.00 to $56.00.
Review of Service
The service was good considering the situation. I should have called beforehand and made sure something like this was covered in my warranty. I did not. However, they were willing to work with me to get the price down to where it was affordable for me to have the work done. I had to use a rental car because I had business to take care of that day and they kept calling me with updates on my car about every 20 minutes or so. Very respectable service dealer and I would definitely go back and do work with them again.
Tips
Make sure you call beforehand if you assume something may be covered under your warranty. I didn't enjoy the unpleasant surprise of having it not covered. The service shop should be more than willing to work with you if you go about it the right way, so don't lose your mind, keep your cool, and they will most likely work with you.
