Description of service
I paid for the motor on the sunroof to be replaced. The car had a button to push to open and close the sunroof and it stopped working. The repair shop said the motor had failed and would have to be replaced. They took out the old parts and replaced the new ones. It took three days when they said about a day and a half. They said that some of the wiring had to be replaced as well and that was why it took longer.
Review of Service
I was fairly happy with the service. It took them longer and cost more than they said it would so I was not happy about that. I was however pleased that the sunroof functioned properly again. I would take the car back there again but I would get all agreements in writing this time so they would live up to their word. The sunroof does not stick or stop going back now anymore, it works fine.
Tips
I would recommend that you get the price and the work that is to be done and the time frame in writing up front, then if they call and say they need to do this or that you get that in writing as well. If for some reason you think they have not done all they said they were doing take the car to another repair shop and ask them to check. If they tell you that it wasn't done or wasn't done properly you have grounds to sue because you have everything in writing.
