Description of service
The Pilates Classes or course was of about 2 months or 7 weeks long at a local gym by a young instructor. It included entire training of concentration, breathing, mind power and various poses and benefits included with the practice of Pilates.
Review of Service
Initially I loved the way the instructor caught the imagination of all the people involved. However towards the end of 4 weeks, the classes began to look a bit far fetched, unrealistic and bit hard to digest. The best thing about Pilates is that it combines aerobics and yoga into a unique form of exercise. The overall effect can in fact be felt as you continue exercising. However the course of 20 classes seems just too long and expensive. I believe it could have been shortened by 30% or so.
Tips
Pilates combines postures of Yoga, Surya Namaskara, Aerobics and some elements of Tai-Chi. It stretches your body, improves circulation, improves vital capacity and your energy levels. Before joining classes, I would advise you to look towards family and friends who may have completed courses. If so you can even go ahead by learning from them if possible. Make sure your Pilates instructor is certified for a detailed insight. Though also make sure it is a shorter course which can even suffice. Have a healthy life...
