Description of service
My ongoing quest to find an exercise program that would benefit me the most led me to join a friend who was going to Pilates classes twice per week. After consulting with my doctor, I prepaid for a eight sessions, figuring that would last me for a month. Each class lasted 50 minutes, with no break during the class. I was allowed to use one of the school's mats, so I did not have to go out and purchase one.
Review of Service
The instructors did a good job of engaging the students in order to help them reach their full potential, but I just could not get into the whole concept behind pilates, and although I did give it the full month that I had signed up for, I just did not feel as if it was the right program for me, and ended up going back to more of a cardio and muscular workout. The one thing they did not do a good job of is explaining the uses of the various machines, such as the reformers.
Tips
See if you can attend a few lessons prior to buying a full package if you are unsure on pilates, I wish that I had, as I learned very quickly it was not right for me.
