Description of service
Mat pilates classes, with warm up and cool down, generally using the classic pilates style. No shoes are required for piltates. Socks optional but not recommended as you may slide on the mat, making it difficult to hold poses like "the plank" (push up position, down on your forearms, and engaging the core/abs).
Review of Service
I love this class! They offer a lot of different times and days to make sure it works with your schudule. Make sure to stop by a store and pick up a mat before arrival and have yoga style, form fitting clothing to ensure correct posture. It's a good work out, be wary if you have a bad back as there are a few moves. Make sure to talk to the instructor before hand if you have injuries. Don't be afraid to take a water break if you start aching. Make sure to use your neutral neck (aligned)
Tips
Definitely try this class and try yoga--they're different styles and you may prefer one more than the other. Bring water with you and don't be afraid to take water breaks as you go. If it feels wrong, it probably is, and make sure you're talking to the instructor if you are new to pilates.
