Description of service
The fee paid for group mat instruction at the time of the student's choice. You were welcome to take classes at any time of the day you liked, and the classes began at 6AM and ended at 7PM, continuing all day long in one hour blocks.
Review of Service
The instruction was quite good, and I felt that $12 per class was a real bargain. Pilates can actually be done at home with a videotape, but if you are not familiar with the terminology or the moves then it is very helpful to attend some classes to learn. Of course, I felt the classes were so enjoyable that I just stayed on with them.
Tips
Make an appointment to tour the studio in advance and meet the instructors. Be sure to inform the instructors of any disabilities or medical conditions you may have, and ask if the classes can be tailored to meet your needs. They very often can. In addition, ask if there are discounts for purchasing multiple classes at once instead of paying as you go. It is usually cheaper to buy in bulk, so to speak. You should also ask to either take a demo class or sit in on a class before you sign up for anything so that you'll have a feel for the instructor and the exercises.
