Description of service
I paid for a beginners pilates class. Not included with the price of the class was a mat (you could use the ones provided, but for sanitary purposes I don't recommend it) and also any workout attire. I was in a small class that would range from 8-12, mostly women, at a small pilates studio.
Review of Service
I was very satisfied with the class. I signed up for a six week session (12 classes) and only paid $75 (special student price). I found the class extremely challenging and I definitely got a great workout. The price may have been a break but the class was not - my instructor was relentless, but in a good way! I definitely got what I paid for, and then some!
Tips
At my studio, you can refer a friend and get half off the price of a six week pilates class (it is also more fun to take a friend along to class). Look for student, senior, and referral discounts wherever you can! Also, aside from the mat, I don't suggest investing a ton of money on pilates equipment such as resistance bands and balls - the studio (if it is a good one) will usually provide them for you.
