Description of service
I signed up for a Pilates class with my sister and her friends. The fitness center near her house offered an introductory rate of only $50 a class if you book three classes in advance. Each class was an hour long and the class size was a small number of 15 students. The studio had new equipment that included trap tables, Wunda chairs, spine corrector and reformer machines. The class was an intermediate level Pilates proram. In addition to mat exercises we used the wunda chair and spine correctors in our class.
Review of Service
This fitness center was pretty upscale and had a lot of Pilates equipment. The price I paid was a huge discount because the price list at the counter shows one Pilates class for $70. I felt like I received a lot of attention from the instructor because the class was so small. I really got my money's worth since the instructor was kind enough to let me try out the trap tables and inspired me to keep practicing Pilates so I can eventually get comfortable using a trap table. I'm sure I'll return to take a reformer class with a trainer even if it is a 30 minute drive away.
Tips
Pilates is a very rewarding way to exercise and will give you long and leaner muscles. Try using Pilates equipment with a trainer for a really great routine if get bored of mat exercises.
