Description of service
Pilates classes are in demand in our area, so there are many times and teachers to choose from. Some classes require a sign up, to get in at the most popular times. I tend to go for the smaller classes that you can drop in as is convenient in your weekly schedule. The class time runs around 45 min to an hour with an instructor and soft music. There are mats available, although many people bring their own. Water is encouraged. Students are required to turn off their cell phones and focus on the class. Each person is allowed to progress and their own level.
Review of Service
This is a great atmosphere of working at your own pace and becoming stronger individual as you work out together in a group. They do a good job with encouraging growth, without discouraging the person that is at a lower level on the fitness chain. Pilates is a very good stress reliever and that is dependent on the students ability to focus on the movements and shut out the stress on his or her life. As a group you get stronger and more flexible.
Tips
Pilates is a very relaxing yet challenging program that you have to really try it before you make a decision. Once you try it, you will be hooked.
